Homer throughout the story, especially in the beginning, continuously brings up his homeland. "So nothing is as sweet as a man's

own country, his own parents, even though he's settled down in some luxurious house, off in a foreign land and far from those who bore him". This shows his commitment to his homeland. He has a deep love for his family, and wants to remain close to his homeland for his family. He shows bravery along his whole journey, from leaving his home to encountering a Cyclops. "The monster wrenched the spike from his eye and out it came with a red geyser of blood". He stands up to the giant, not only tricking it, but stabbing it. This shows his bravery in the face of challenges.

The people in New England made their living by fur trade and
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

JOHN PYNCHON commenced his mercantile career in trade with the Indians of the upper Connecticut Valley in 1652, a traffic that dominated the economic life of western Massachusetts for almost half a century after the first English settlement. He received all of his training from his father, William Pynchon, a founder of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, who made the fur trade his principal enterprise from 1636 to 1652, when he returned to England, where he spent the restof his life. The fur trade reached its height in the late fifties, and though it then declined, the son’s efforts to sustain it continued for more than a decade. The commerce of New Englanders in beaver and other peltry was of prime importance to the colonial economy, and until 1676 the Connecticut Valley was one of the few important fur-trading regions.

If a firm chooses to produce 100 units of output for $150 with 10 units of labor and 12 units of capital, when they could produc
son4ous [18]

Answer:

The correct answer is A)The firm is technologically inefficient and also economically inefficient

Explanation:

It is technologically inefficient because it is using 12 units of capital to produce 100 units of output, when it could only use 8 units of capital to produce the same output. In other words, it is using more capital than it has to, and that is a sign of technological inefficiency.

It is also economically inefficient because it is pouring more money ($150) to produce output, than it has to ($120).
