She is not able to look out to see the people pass by her tower, or else she will fall victim to an unknown fate because of the curse put on her. This curse represents the artist's binding to their art, the struggle of not being able to let go. Finally the Lady breaks this bond with her project. When Lancelot "flash'd into the crystal mirror, " "She left the web, she left the loom She made three paces thro' the room ". Lancelot was worth leaving her art and dying for.

She is not able to see or look over her window to see the people outside pass her because she will fall victim to a certain unknown fate due to a curse that was bestowed upon her. The curse that is set on her is to represent the artists binding to their art, and also the struggle of not letting go. then surprisingly she breaks this "bond" with her project. it was when Lancelot "flashed" into the crystal mirror and she decided to leave her room, she said it was worth leaving her art and as well as dying for.
