For any relationship to work out there should be always emphaty, meaning that we have to put ourselves in the shoes of the other person and try to see their perspective, therefore, if we take the first step and apologize for our mistakes the other person would see more clearly their mistakes and apologize as well, stablishing a strong foundation for a fresh start in the relationship.
