The famous Ring of Fire, that consists of basically the entire Pacific ocean.....going along California, up over Alaska and Russia, and then back down, along Japan.  More of a horseshoe than a ring, really.......but that's nitpicking. 80-90% of the earth's earthquakes and volcanic activity take place along this ring......hence the name.

malfutka [58]

Answer:

i. Possible consequences include altered climate and increased sea level.

ii. Heat energy radiated by the earth is captured by atmospheric molecules.

Explanation:

Global warming involves changes in the weather and the environment. Thus, warmer temperatures make ice and snow melt, which causes sea levels to rise. Besides, ice and snow reflect light, and because liquid water consumes light energy, it is released again as heat, which is also absorbed by molecules living in the atmosphere.

marusya05 [52]

Answer: Big boulders are found in the headland because deposition is occurring in this area.

Explanation:

Erosion can be defined as the loss of top most fertile layer of the soil due to the action of the agents like water and wind. The coastal area is prone to erosion due to high water tides and strong wind currents. Boulder beaches are created due to erosion in the coastal area. The erosion and sedimentation of the bedrock and sediments left on the shore due to upwelling of oceanic water are the common causes of development of boulders.
