Which development most contributed to the educational and economic trends
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

In the 1950s, as new suburbs prospered and spread across postwar America, cities suffered. Rising car and truck ownership made it easier for businesses and middle- and working-class white residents to flee to the suburbs, leaving behind growing poor and minority populations and fiscal crises.

SSSSS [86.1K]

Answer:

Justinian is generally thought to be one of the most important rulers of the Eastern Roman Empire. His most significant achievement is considered to be the collection of Roman laws, the Corpus Juris Civilis, which was an important body of law for the Eastern Roman Empire for centuries and laid the foundation for the legislation of several other European countries.

During Justinian's reign, Byzantium recaptured lost territories in Africa and Italy. He also significantly reformed administration and legislation. Justinian began a major building program, the most famous achievement of which was the Church of Hagia Sophia in Constantinople.

Why was Solon chosen to be a leader of Athens?
BigorU [14]
Solon was chosen to design a system for Athens (which would eventually become democracy under Cleisthenes) because at the time, indebted Athenians were being sold into slavery and resentment for the upper class amongst poor people were building and the aristocrats feared a revolution. Solon was chosen because he was both of aristocratic birth and trusted by the common Athenians, acting as the link between both.
