Well, it is a little tricky, but here is what I got:

(P ∨ R) ∧ ∼(S ∨ U) → (U ∨ T) ∧ ∼(R ∨ Q)

Explanation:

First the Symbols:

P: Alice is mad.

Q: Alice frowns.

R: Alice is mad

S: The hatter is cross

T: The hatter frowns

U: The Hatter is mad

*It is arbitrary, though, you can choose other symbols.

I think the difficult part is that the "but not the Hatter" means that the whole statement that applies to Alice is negated for the Hatter.

Explanation:

Extinction: In psychology, the term "extinction" is described as one of the learning processes in which gradual decrease or weakening in a particular response related to a "conditioned stimulus" occurs when that particular stimulus is being presented in the absence of any reinforcement. During the extinction process, an entirely new connection with the specific stimulus is being learned that generally inhibits the "expression" of the original memory.

In the question above, the given statement signifies the extinction process.

makkiz [27]
This argument is based on "the linguistic relativity hypothesis".

The hypothesis of linguistic relativity holds that the structure of a dialect influences its speakers' reality view or discernment. Prevalently known as the Sapir– Whorf theory, or Whorfianism, the standard is regularly characterized to incorporate two forms. The solid form says that dialect decides thought and that etymological classifications confine and decide intellectual classifications, while the feeble adaptation says that phonetic classifications and use just impact thought and choices.
