Lyndon Johnson

Johnson continued the push for civil rights that had been started by President John F. Kennedy.  After JFK's assassination, President Johnson said in an address to Congress:  "No memorial oration or eulogy could more eloquently honor President Kennedy's memory than the earliest possible passage of the civil rights bill for which he fought so long."  The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was passed within months after the Kennedy assassination.

List 2 causes of the decline of the Mongol empire?
Vladimir [108]
One cause was the sheer size of the Mongol empire, due to its size the generals and grandsons of Genghis Khan (the most known Mongol warlord of all time) could not hold it together.
Another cause was that an empire of this size needed more and more administration which was not being done to the level it needed to be, and this eventually led to the decline as well.

What is the role of wealthy people in the "gospel of wealth"?
serious [3.7K]
Written by Andrew Carnegie in 1889, those who worked hard most of their lives to become rich, learned to appreciate money and use it for the greater good of society, such as creating railroad companies or steel companies to help build skyscrapers in the city. Carnegie also stated that those who inherited money from richer relatives were more than likely to waste the money for their own selfish purposes, instead of using it to help those around them.
