One of the most serious threats that I can think of is the rising of the temperatures which is melting the habitats of the Polar Bears. This effect is very serious because of the threat of extinction that these bears will face. Then with the Ice melting the sea levels will rise destroying cities and land. It will change the way our maps look. The final one is that when sea levels rise we will and keep rising, we will lose a lot of lands which will result in fewer trees and land to grow things like food. Because we will have to live closer together.
