dimaraw [331]

Answer and Explanation:

The conquest of civil rights was a long and tiring process that took more than 40 years to be established and is still claimed by the African American population today, as these rights, even if conquered, are often denied and devalued.

The search for civil rights began when the African American population, tired of experiencing situations of racism and intolerance all the time, became more aware of their position as American citizens, their value in society and their social rights and duties. This knowledge made the population claim basic rights to life and freedom, since they were American citizens, with social obligations, but without the possibility of living in a fair and equal way.

In this way, a search for Cívis Rights began, where the African-American population started a series of non-violent protests, speeches and demands in the country's Supreme Court. The civil rights movement was very impactful and courageous, and despite facing countless difficulties, it managed to be effective.

How did gorbachev respond to protest differently from his predecessors
erik [133]

Answer:

The Russian word ‘glasnost’ has no precise English translation, a fact which impressed Vladimir Bukovskii on his arrival in the West in 1976:

For us there, in the Soviet Union, glasnost was a weapon, a means of struggle with lawlessness and tyranny. Indeed, a means of defence like the safety belt of a mountain climber. Yet the word does not exist in any European language, which substitute the word ‘publicity,’ distorting the sense of the concept. In the Russian word glasnost there is something cold and exact, like a surgical instrument, something very serious and solemn, from which immediately you imagine a duma clerk, bearded and in long robes, declaiming from the Spassky gate a government document. In essence, something like an oath to speak the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Was the Navigation act an economic or social development
g100num [7]

Answer:

The Navigation Act was considered a ECONOMIC ACT.

Explanation:

The United Kingdom made this act to help itself become self-sufficient, and this made it so it relied less on imported goods, and rely on itself more. This act eventually led to the Anglo-Dutch War in 1652, and after that, it led to the Plantation Duty act of 1673, which was the main factor in causing Culpeper's Rebellion. Hope this helps!
