Color plays a major role in our lives by the way it influences our moods and emotions. A color can make you feel secure or make you feel uneasy, but it can. When choosing to use a color or avoid it, that action can reveal much about your personality.

Match the thesis statements with the thesis organizing patterns. problem and solution cause and effect statement of reason Extre
geniusboy [140]

The first statement corresponds to a Statement of reason. The linker "because" indicates reason, so what follows is a the reason why extreme celebrity workship is a serious problem.

The second thesis statement corresponds to a cause and effect structure. This is best indicated by the verb "caused by" which introduces the causes that lead to Extreme celebrity workship, which would be the effect.

The last thesis statement corresponds to the structure problem and solution. The word 'solved' is a good indication of the structure. As a result, what follows is a solution to the problem of Extreme celebrity solution.

6. What is the main thesis of Verret’s essay? What is he trying to argue and what evidence does he provide? Is his argument effe
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

A) The main thesis of Verret's Essay is a solicitation for the extension of Sea Ports for the United States of America.

B) His argument is based on the following facts:

i. that seaports are a major entry point of illicit and potentially harmful weapons that can cause destruction on a large scale

ii. that extending the seaports farther away from the coast of the USA will allow for damages or destruction to lives and property (should they arise at all) be minimized or eliminated altogether.

C) He goes on to indicate the role of the security and port management agencies and how they could contribute to ensuring the process works. He speaks of using X-Ray technologies to enhance the speed and effectiveness of the search process.

D) He also tries to justify the huge cost this might attract. One of his suggestion on how this can be managed is to ensure that countries exporting to the USA also pay a certain charge to this effect. In my opinion, though this is practicable on paper, ideally, it may pose a tough one. There are already costs associated with exporting to US. With over 30 trading partners and other countries who compete with the US in international trade, the proposal to transfer costs for projects that benefits the US primarily might prove a tough one.

Besides point D above, Verret's argument is plausible.

QUICK IM DOING A TEST AND NEED HELP PLEASE
velikii [3]

Answer:

The lowest level of thinking skills is remembering, and the highest is creating. To envision that, let’s compare reciting the Pledge of Allegiance (remember level) to composing meaningful lyrics to add to it (create level). You would invest quite a bit of effort when learning and remembering the pledge. But you would eventually commit it to memory so that reciting it would be easy. Composing lyrics, on the other hand, would always require the same high level of thought because you’re creating something new each time you compose.  If you are asked to organize a number of CDs by the artist’ name, you would naturally employ thinking at the level of understanding. Thinking at the level of understanding for this task allows you to first recognize you must use the alphabet to place the CDs in order. Second, you will use your ability to compare artist names to determine where they will be placed in relation to all other CDs. Critical thinking is the process of questioning assumptions and exploring possibilities. Critical thinking is necessary when you judge, evaluate, or compare a topic as long as you do so in a reasonable and reflective way.
