Between 1941 and 1945, The United States delivered to the Soviet Union 17.5 million tons of military equipment ranging from industrial supplies, vehicles, ships and food through the Persian corridor to eliminate the German Nazis. 
After World War 2 there was a resurgence of divisions that existed between the two nations before whereby; the expansion of Soviets to Eastern Europe after the defeat of Germany worried the U.S considering the fact that the U.S had established virtual political and economic primacies in Western Europe.
The two countries further promoted two opposite political and economic ideologies in which they competed for an international influence of these ideologies.

They  are  dangerous apartment houses because they barely meet or fail to meet the minimum standards of safety, sanitation, and comfort. As a result people living there are prone to safety hazards and infections diseases. Lack of comfort also ensures that they do not achieve their fullest potential.</span>
