Explanation:

Although we often find that introducing technology to developing countries helps it may also do some damage, even though the introduction was in the best intentions. The introduction of technology poses new threats to the people who are still learning how it works. For example personal information, if someone from a developing country puts their information into a website that could be a scam their identity and personal information may be at risk. Technology opens up new opportunities but it also opens up new threats to those who don't know how it works yet.
