A nation whose interest rate is rising more rapidly than interest rates in other nations can expect the international value of i
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

true

Explanation:

The exchange rate is the rate at which one currency is exchanged for another currency

If interest rate is higher in a country compared to other countries, investors would be interested in investing in that country because they would earn a higher return for their investment.

As a result of the higher flow of funds into the economy with the higher interest rate, the demand for the country's currency increases. If the demand increases relative to supply, the value of that currency relative to other currencies increases and its exchange rate increases. this is what is referred to as currency appreciation

beks73 [17]

The financial commitments and performance could be limiting in the long run because skills become obsolete, but problems are rarely solved.

Financial Commitments refers to all borrowing or raising commitments made to the Group at any time, including those for bonds (but excluding, for the avoidance of doubt, any bonding guarantees made in the normal course of business) and other debt, whether or not they are for cash.

A worker's skills become obsolete over time as a result of industrial restructuring or changing skill requirements in occupations and industries that rely heavily on technology (such as ICT, finance, and professional and scientific activities).

Aloiza [94]

The bowed-outward shape of the production possibility frontier illustrates that the opportunity cost of one good in terms of the other depends on how much of each good the economy is producing.

What is Production Possibility Frontier?

The production possibility frontier (PPF) is a curve in economics that depicts the maximum amounts that two goods can create if they both rely on the same limited resource for production.

From the attached picture below, Let's assume that:

 • The vertical product is: wine

At the end of last year, the company's assets totaled $870,000 and its liabilities totaled $745,000. During the current year, th
Ber [7]

Answer:

$159,500

Explanation:

Total assets = $870,000

Total liabilities = $745,000.

Total equity is the difference between the assets and liabilities according to the accounting equation. Therefore,

Total equity = $870,000 - $745,000

= $125,000

Increase in asset during the year = $59,000

Increase in liabilities during the year = $24,500

Therefore, increase in equity

= $59,000 - $24,500

= $34,500

At the end of the current year, stockholders' equity is made up of the opening balance and the increase during the year. Hence,

current year's stockholders' equity = $125,000 + $34,500

= $159,500
