There is no place for a convert in Hindu society, which is made up of castes, each of which is a closed corporation. As a result, the caste system has hindered Hindus from growing and absorbing other religious groups. Evangelism was not a priority for Hinduism and Judaism in the past. Both of these religions are more culturally and ethnically based. The missionary enthusiasm was missing, just as it was in Europe's pagan faiths and China's religions. Nothing in the holy writings makes it the followers' responsibility to disseminate the faith.
