Answer:

The answer is b (destructive)

Explanation:

There are 2 types of destructive forces that wear away mountains and other features:

 • Slow forces

The 2 main destructive forces that wear down mountains and land features of the earth slowly and steadily are weathering and erosion. Weathering is the breaking down of rocks due to forces such as wind and water. The pieces of rock are then moved elsewhere through the process of erosion. The classic examples of weathering and erosion are The Grand Canyon and Monument Valley in Arizona.

 • Quick forces

Quick destructive forces are earthquake and tsunami that can eliminate the features of our Earth in minutes or even in seconds. Tsunami can smooth the Earth surface and erase hills and mountains. A tsunami can take hundreds of km of Earth and drag it back to the ocean floor. Earthquake can cause the Earth to crack, causing sinkholes. Quick destructive force can also be a landslide. Mountain sides can move to the base of a mountain in seconds.

A city that is adjacent to a warm ocean current will have ______ mean yearly temperature than a city at the same latitude that i
Nikitich [7]

The city's temperature will experience a cooler mean yearly temperature than the other city adjacent to a cold ocean current.

Warm currents cause more evaporation and more rain in the coastal areas. Usually, coastal regions stay cooler during summer than during winter. They are also warmer in winter. This situation moderates the temperature within the mean range.

Thus, the temperature range for the city adjacent to a warm ocean current will be cooler.

What deserts is not considered a low-latitude or subtropical desert?
Elden [556K]

Answer: The Patagonia desert

A subtropical desert is formed by the trade winds, which heat the air in the equatorial region. These dry winds dissipate the cloud cover, allowing the ground to heat more by the Sun's radiation.

In this context, the Patagonian desert does not meet these conditions, due to its location in the southern point of America, where there are not trade winds.
