Which of the following would be least likely to damage an ecosystem?
Oxana [17]

Answer:

gathering food instead of cultivating the land for crops

Explanation:

Among the following options that would be least likely to damage an ecosystem is "gathering food instead of cultivating the land for crops."

The gathering of food instead of cultivating the land for crops will not or hardly affect the ecosystem because there is the uprooting of forests or bushes and soils, which are the natural habitats of plants and animals in the ecosystem.

However, founding a new city and building houses there; building a dam to generate electricity; and raising a type of livestock in a region where it is not native will all involve the excavation of soils and clearing of bushes which are natural habitats of plants and animals, thereby affecting the ecosystem.

How did the Columbian Exchange impact the movement of people around the world?
navik [9.2K]

The Colombian exchange had a huge impact on the movement of people around the world. It opened the gates to two new continents. The indigenous people saw an invasion by people from Europe at first, people from other race and culture. The Europeans later started to bring in Africans on these two continents as well. As the time was passing, more and more people, from more and more countries and continents wanted to migrate toward these parts of the world. As those societies became more open toward migration, there was an influx of multiple different European ethnic groups, multiple different African ethnic groups, and in lesser degree East Asian people as well. All that movement of different people, from different ethnic groups, races, cultures, created societies were people from all over the world live together, work together, prosper together.
