What were the pros and cons of the Battle of Quebec? What would this battle lead to in the future?
Inessa05 [86]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached, we can say the following.

As part of the Seven Years War(1756-1763), the Battle of Quebec represented a turning point in the region called New France that until that day, was controlled by the French. This battle was also part of the fights in North America in what was known as the French and Indian War.

Great Britain and its allies Prussia, and Hanover, fought the French Army and its allies Spain, Sweden, Russia, and Austria.

The Battle was fought on September 13, 1759, and by September 18, the French had surrendered the city to the British troops.

The consequence of this battle was that the British soldiers stayed isolated in the region because due to the frozen weather, they could not navigate through the St. Lawrence River. AS the British did not get reinforcements, were easily defeated by General Francois Gastón de Levys on April 28, 1760. The French Army outnumber the English soldiers.

Why was Boston such an important city for both the British and the Continental Army?
viktelen [127]

Answer: The Siege of Boston (April 19, 1775 – March 17, 1776) was the opening phase of the American Revolutionary War. New England militiamen prevented the movement by land of the British Army, which was garrisoned in what was then the peninsular city of Boston, Massachusetts Bay.

What did Hamilton imply were the weaknesses of the present system of the government under the Articles of Confederation?
Bad White [126]
Alexander Hamilton's main argument that the present system of government under the Articles of Confederation was too weak revolved around the fact that this government could not tax the individual states--meaning that the US couldn't repay it war debt, which would have greatly hurt its credit rating.
