The Northwest Territory in the U.S was formed after the American Revolutionary war.

Explanation:

The Northwest territory denotes that the states of ohio, Indiana, Illinois. The control of area is passed from the states in the treaty of paris.

It is considered as the important legislative acts of the confederation congress, The civil liberties are protected by the northwest ordinance.

The first permanent American settlement of the United States in the Northwest territory and created an expansion to the new country in the westward.

Thus, based on these conditions of Northern Territory I planned to settle there.
