Answer:

36 years old

Step-by-step explanation:

let x = age of Rachael

2x+3 = current ages combined

[(2x+3)+4]+4 = 75

2x+11 = 75

2x = 75-11

2x = 64

x = 32

Rachel is 32 years old. Isaac is 3 years older, which is 35 years old.

Hope this helped! If you need any help, tell me in the comments.

I hope this clears it up. R is Rachaels age and I is Isaacs age. The first equation at the top represents that Isaac is 3 years older than Rachael. The second equation represents their combined ages in 4 years. Follow the arrows to see where I get my numbers and variables

Two separate bacteria populations grow each month and are represented by the
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

Option 4.) month 4

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

f(x)=3^{x} ----> equation A

g(x)=7x+6 ----> equation B

Solve the system by graphing

Remember that the solution is the intersection point both graphs

The solution is the point (3,27)

That means -----> For x=3 months, the populations in both functions are the same (the bacteria populations is 27)

therefore

For x> 3 months the f(x) population is greater then the g(x) population
