jarptica [38.1K]

Answer:

Eighth notes and eighth rests are 1/8 the length of a whole note and are often half a beat each. Single eighth notes can be connected into pairs by a beam. Finally, sixteenth notes and sixteenth rests are the smallest of our bunch, with a value of 1/16 the length of a whole note.

DanielleElmas [232]
The difference in tone between the two ladies is due to the frequency of waves produced per second. Soprano singers produce higher pitched sound waves, whereas an alto singer produces much lower pitched sound waves; this relates to the frequency of the wave, which simply put, is the number of waves produced per second. The female soprano singer, therefore, produces more sound waves per second than the alto singer produces fewer sound waves per second.

What indications do we have that Gimli has changed his attitude toward Elves since meeting Galadriel? What did she say that made
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer and Explanation:

In the story of "The Lord of the Rings", there was a lot of hatred between the dwarfs and the elves. Gimli, who was a dwarf, remained unimpressed and distrusted the elves and Lady Galadriel. However, on meeting the elves and Lady Galadriel, Gimli’s perception about Galadriel and the elves changed and led to a change in his attitude after Galadriel make a thought-provoking comment about the dwarfs.

According to the story:

“She (Galadriel) looked upon Gimli, who sat glowering and sad, and she smiled. And the Dwarf, hearing the names given in his own ancient tongue, looked up and met her eyes, and it seemed to him that he looked suddenly into the heart of an enemy and saw there love and understanding. Wonder came into his face, and then he smiled in answer.”

After this comment from Lady Galadriel, Gimli had a different perception about the elves, and appreciated their land and forests.
