There is no simpler word for rain. Rain is the simplified word form of saying water that is condensed from the aqueous vapor in the atmosphere and falls to earth in drops more than 1/50 inch (0.5 mm) in <span>diameter. Lol, so to answer your question, rain is the most simplified word and can't be simplified.</span>
