G0 phase is the resting phase for cell. Cells in resting phase do not devide. But they can re- enter to the cell cycle and undergo mitosis.

Explanation:

scientists are working on it. They worked on  fibroblast for their study and they found that these cells started dividing when cultured in appropriate medium. And they found 10% serum  cells cultured for 48 hours gave the 100% DNA replication.

Using this technique  cells can be re generate and connections can be maintained between axons.
