Answer:

Region A represents the solution of the given system of inequalities

(Correcting the second equation which becomes 1.5x+y ≤ -1)

Explanation:

We have to solve a system of inequalities by using graph only.

The first equation given to us is:

-0.5x+y ≥ 3

This equation forms a straight line going upwards from left to right which intersects x-axis at -6

The region bound by this equation is shown in pink in the attachment

The second equation given to us is:

1.5x+y ≤ -1

This equation give a straight line going downwards from left to right intersecting x=axis near -1

The region bound by this is shown in blue in the attachment.

The solution of the equations is given by the region which is overlapping, that is A (purple region in the attachment)

Which of the following best describes what capitalism was in the Americas? A. when individuals in private businesses run most in
MissTica

Answer:

The correct answer is C. Capitalism was based in what individuals choose to buy and sell.

Explanation:

Capitalism is an economic system based on investing money in the expectation of making a profit. The means of production are usually privately owned by private entrepreneurs who often use wage labor to create added value. They enjoy a great deal of legal freedom to dispose of these resources, the free enterprise-based production. This freedom also means that there is competition, which means that entrepreneurs have an interest in increasing the efficiency of their business. Therefore, the capital owner will not fully consume the profit, but reinvest in the enterprise and capital accumulation takes place. The distribution of products is regulated by the market, in which the role of the government is (in principle) limited to that of market master.
