How does the knowledge that a text is written in sequential order increase comprehension?
sergeinik [125]

How does the knowledge that a text is written in sequential order increase comprehension?

The correct answer is C. The reader knows to follow a series of steps in order.

 • In a text that is written in a sequential pattern, the reader increases his comprehension because he or she can follow a sequence that is very easy to identify. First, the information is organized step-by-step describing a process, starting by the main step, then the continuing sub steps. For example, if I want to explain the process in which coffee is made I would use a sequential pattern. “How coffee is made” would be the main step, “pick coffee berries” a sub step, “the coffee is then processed” another sub step.
