In Morte d’Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory, which element of medieval literature does the disappearance of the Excalibur into the la

ke represent?
English

When king Arthur threw the sword into the lake, he did so so that nobody else could wield it, because the dragon who forged it told him that he could be the only person ever to use the sword. Now, the sword disappeared in the lake, as the Lady of the Lake took it to keep it safe. To me, all of these elements seem sort of supernatural, so I'd say that is the element that the disappearance of the Excalibur into the lake represents.

For each of the numbered sentences, select the letter that identifies its type: a. Simple sentence b. Complex sentence c. Compou
viva [34]

Answer: Option "2" is best suited to describe the view of other nations on the informality ways of Americans.

Explanation: Other people of other nations unlike Americans believe in formality as a form of respect especially towards elders, while they view informality as a form or disrespect. In a country like Asia where formality is practiced and preferred it would be wrong when an American addresses the Asians informality because his or her intentions would be interpreted as being rude.

In America and other European countries they believe informality is friendliness and openness towards the other person which to them is a virtue, regardless of age and status an American man would prefer to call you by your first name.

Write a letter to your friend telling him about your new school
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

Hey (insert friend's name here),

The new school that I go to is really awesome. The teachers are nice the people are nice its way better than my old school. I've already made a ton of friends. It is kind of sad though. Everyone is so nice but its so boring. There is none f the exiting fights that my old school has. Everything seems perfect. So perfect it seems wrong. I can't seem to shake off the homesickness. Everyone is always supporting me but it just makes me feel more sad. Anyways I hope that you are having a great time too.

Sincerely,

You name here

Why do you think there is a disproportionate number of women in sports?
Fiesta28 [93]
Gender stereotypes. The typical "female" is often portrayed as shopping addicted, always on her phone, and someone who hates physical exercise of any kind. Sometimes it may be hard to step out of the stereotypes and be oneself due to the fear that someone may criticize them for playing sports, which sadly many people think is a "guy thing".

Peer pressure from other females can contribute to this as well. If a girl even expresses her interest for a particular sport, others may call it "lame" or "for the guys".

It's kind of sad in a way, thinking we have come such a long way yet women are unable to pursue their dreams without persecution or hate.
