timama [110]

Answer: 16/24

Step-by-step explanation: Find out a common denominator: 8,16,24 and 3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24. Which is 24.

Take 5/8 multiplied by 3 because its the 3rd multiple of 8. Which is 15/24.

Then, take 2/3 and multiply by 8 because its the 8th multiple of 3. This will give you 16/24.

Make sure to multiply both the top and bottom. :D

Rounded to the nearest hundred cubic meters, what is the total capacity (cone and cylinder) of the storage container?
hichkok12 [17]
The picture in the attached figure

we know that
the total capacity of the storage container=volume of a cone+volume of cylinder

step 1
find the volume of a cone
volume of a cone=(1/3)*pi*r²*h
r=6 m
h=8 m
so
volume=(1/3)*pi*6²*8-----> 301.44 m³

step 2
find the volume of the cylinder
volume of a cylinder=pi*r²*h
r=6 m
h=10 m
s6
volume=pi*6²*10----> 1130.40 m³

total volume=301.44+1130.4-----> 1431.84 m³-------> 1400 m³

the answer is
1400 m³

a. "The newer car is more expensive" is false. The leftmost graph is a graph of cost versus time; you can see that as you increase in age, the cost lowers (point B to point A).

b. "The slower car is larger" is true. Middle graph is the relevant one. You can see that as cruising speed increases, the size decreases. Point A is the larger car than point B

c. We have to use multiple graphs. We see that car A is the larger car from the middle graph but car A is older than car B from the left graph. So no, the larger car is newer is false.

d. A is the cheapter car and it carries more capacity. True
