Explain why isokinetic exercises cannot generally be performed by individuals at home.
guajiro [1.7K]
Isokinetic exercises are performed where the limb is moving at a constant speed. This is typically performed with a machine, a dynamometer, to maintain this speed. Given that most people do not own one of these machines, it would be challenging for these exercises to be performed at home.

Answer:

What ethical issues surround the use of kidney dialysis machines?

The ethical issues are;

1, How to promote patient best interest.

2.How it will be possible to increase access of the patients to dialysis,and at the same time ensure maintenance of  all procedures and even distribution.

3. How it will be possible to mitigate the financial burden on the patients, and  the healthcare delivery system.

4, how to maximize total benefits

What roles do you think social or economic factors play in decisions?

The social economic factors affecting the decisions of dialysis machine are the education, income and funding and employments.These factors affects the quality of life of the dialysis patient,Some patients can not afford these services, some lacks basic knowledge of its efficacy.

Do the rich and poor have the same access?

The rich have more access and resources to these machine than the poor, These inequality in the access affect the quality of life of poor patients with kidney failure,compare the wealthy privileged  .

What criteria would you use to decide who would receive dialysis if the resource was limited?

Availability and cost:

The patients with the urgent need for survival with available machine should be given this procedure to ensure  improved quality of life.This should be the main criteria irrespective of the inequality in  socio-economic status of the patient. The life and need for survival should be the ultimate criteria.The affordability of the services are other criteria.
