A student designs an experiment to test substances X, Y, and Z, to determine which one is a catalyst for the reaction: A + B ® C
guapka [62]
The effect of a catalyst is to increase the speed of the reaction, this is the speed at which reactants, A and B, are consumed, ant the product, C, is produced.

Given that when C is produced the solution bubbles, the bubbles are an indication of progression of the reaction.

The greater the speed of reaction, the earlier the reaction will end and the earlier the bubbles will stop.

So the student can identify the catalyst because the bubbles will stop first.

Answer: The test tube that stops bubbling first contains the catalyst.

1. The snow is making driving conditions very dangerous. But I must still go out and vote even though my candidate has no chance
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

A statement can contain one argument, more than one argument or no argument.

Argument are intended to determine the degree of truth hence enabling a conclusion to be made. It contains one or more premises and only one conclusion.

A premise is the statement in the argument that provides reasons to support a conclusion.

In the first statement, there is no argument. This is because there is neither a premise nor a conclusion

The second statement has a conclusion(the last sentence) and two premises(first two sentences) therefore it is an argument.

They all have instruments to "uncouple" oxidative phosphorylation from electron transport framework by giving an option system to protons to come back to the mitochondrial grid. As protons enter the lattice without going through ATP synthase, their vitality is discharged as warmth. So these produce warm by uncoupling those two procedures.
