A result from his break from the church would be the creation of protestant churches throughout the world. A result is more people joining the protestant churches and some even abandoning the Catholic church.

Besides protecting china from foreign armies what other purposes could the great wall have served
Makovka662 [10]

To understand the Wall, we need to first understand why it was built. Most Great Wall histories tell us that it was built in order to keep out “nomadic tribes from the north”. But who were they exactly?

Nearly half of Modern China is desert, mountain or arid plateau, particularly in the north. Throughout China’s history, the people from these unforgiving “northern steppe” areas lived in close proximity (often overlapping territories) with the Chinese. These northern nomads were certainly not all homogenous, however they shared many similarities and had distinctively different cultures and languages from the Chinese.

For over 2,000 years—they regularly harassed, invaded and even conquered the settled agricultural civilizations of the Chinese Empire.

What is Key saying in these lines from "The Star Spangled Banner"? Death and bloodshed are inevitable in war. Wars are an inesca
vaieri [72.5K]

Answer:

Explanation:

"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States based on a poem written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key after observing the British Royal Navy ships bombing at Baltimore Harbor at Fort MacHenry. What he means in that part of the poem is that the loss of lives during the battlefield is something expected during the war. According to him, wars themselves are inevitable and people must be brave enough to take part in them to gain their freedom. Because of that sublime goal, he believes people who join war are glorious.
