Your group is conducting an experiment to test the effect of Earth's gravity on objects of different masses. Your group drops fo

ur different objects over the 2nd floor railing and measures how long it takes them to hit the ground. On your first try, you drop a textbook, pencil, marker, and flat sheet of paper. You notice that although the textbook, pencil, and marker all hit the ground at the same time, the piece of paper did not. You learned in science that on Earth the acceleration due to gravity is constant regardless of mass, so you expected that all four objects would all hit the ground at the same time.
What could you do to change the results?

A) The paper is affected by air resistance due to its flat shape, so wadding the paper into a tight ball would cause it to hit the ground at the same time as the other objects.

B) The paper is affected by its mass, which is much less than the other objects. Folding the paper would increase its mass and cause it to hit the ground with the other objects.

C) The paper is affected by its mass, which is much less than the other objects. Using a heavier weight of paper would cause it to hit the ground at the same time as the other objects.

D) The paper is affected by air resistance due to its shape, so dropping the objects from a greater height would decrease the air resistance and cause the paper to hit the ground with the other objects.

Answer:

A) The paper is affected by air resistance due to its flat shape, so wadding the paper into a tight ball would cause it to hit the ground at the same time as the other objects.

Explanation:

I am so sorry if this is incorrect! But after some research, this is what I found.

Aristotle said that there are 4 elements: Earth, Wind, Water, Fire. Objects made of earth (like a rock) will want to go the center of the universe (center of the Earth). Things made of fire want to go to the place where fire is. I guess this would be the Sun - or somewhere up. Aristotle also said that a heavier object will fall at a faster speed.

Here is the first classic example. This is a bowling ball and a basketball dropped from the same height. Normally, people would assume thatn the bowling ball would drop quicker. They are correct. Please note that heavier objects do not always fall faster though.

I hope I answered your question! please give brainliest!

Hypothesis: What do you predict you will find about the number of cells in each of the phases of the cell cycle? Provide an expl
Wittaler [7]

For the Data and Observation refer the image attached.

Data Analysis:

Calculate the percentage of the cell cycle spent in each stage.

Number of cells in given stage ÷ total number of cells counted × 100 = % of the cell cycle spent in this stage

Conclusion:

Be sure to answer the following reflection questions in the conclusion of your lab report:

Based on your data, what can you infer about the length of time spent in each stage of the cell cycle?

The most time is used in the cell cycle is in the interphase.

What stages were the longest and shortest? Give a brief explanation of why these stages may have that time period.

The longest phase of the cell cycle is the Interphase. Most of the total time of cell cycle is spent in the Interphase. The reason for this being is that the cell prepares itself for its division, and also in this phase, the necessary protein for the duplication of organelles occurs.
