New York Times

Protest arouse in New York city

written by: Amyah Barnes

In New York city, people are protesting for the killing of George Floyd, and now are getting more and more serious. George Floyd was killed by police while having the police officers knee on George Floyd's' neck, for approximately 8:46. People have been protesting and suspicions arise as people think this is racism. Then a week or so later, a police officer named Breonna Taylor was shot and killed in her home by police when police suddenly busted in her home without reason, and apparently her soon-to-be husband had a gun and was saying that he didn't know about this and he had the gun for protection. Bitterly, Breonna Taylor was on the floor, bleeding to death and the police nor Her soon-to-be husband could save her. Breonne Taylor was only 26 years old at the time of her death.

madreJ [45]

Answer: Because they don't have five feet in the line or don't have an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed one like iambic pentameter requires.

Explanation: In poetry, an Iambic Pentameter is a metrical speech that has 5 feet on every line. A foot is a pair of syllables in which there is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed one.

The lines "As wicked dew as e'er my mother brushed" and "With raven’s feather from unwholesome fen" follow the rules of iambic pentameter, while the line "Upon thy wicked dam, come forth!" has just four feet, and the line "Drop on you both! A southwest blow on ye" doesn't have the unstressed syllables at first.

what is the right way to teach slavery to yung student (elementary)? How about older students (high school)
hjlf

I really personally dont think it should be taught in school at all, honestly I do not like history at all, due to what both men and women dealt with, from the unequal rights to the other horrible things that occurred. It seems like disrespectful to teach this due to it being some of their ancestors that were slaves at a time or any part of history in that matter. I think if a student wanted to learn about it then they should read about it in the libraires, or ask a teacher for tutoring on the subject, and not actually teach any students about this.

Answer:

C. whether a view is familiar or shocking does not determine if it is constitutional.

Explanation:

In other words, what the quote indicates is that the Constitution was created for people and, as everybody knows, people are different. In this way, opinions will not affect all individuals in the same way, and they are not responsible for deciding about the constitutionality of the statutes which represent these opinions.
