The statement that best describes the main motivation for the United States' entry into World War I is to maintain freedom over trade for the United States. During World War I, Britain and Germany were at war. Germany attempted a quarantine on the British Isles. Britain was one of America's closest trading partners. The United States declared war on Germany after many ships were attacked or sunk by German mines.

Why were so many civilians at the Battle of Bull Run?
Nostrana [21]
The answer should be B! It's actually kinda funny. Northerners thought that the Confederate army would be easily defeated and that the Civil War was going to begin and end at the Battle of Bull Run. So, lots of spectators watched, but they were quickly proven wrong, as the war lasted for years.
