Answer:

D. produce

Explanation:

The root word is the part of the word that helps define the meaning. It can be at the beginning of the word, middle, or end. These are called the prefixes, bases, and suffixes.

Since "products" and "produce" have the same root word of "pro" and have similar meanings-things that are made, making things- they have the same root word. However, C. prompt also has the same root word of pro but it doesn't have a similar meaning.

Read the excerpt from "The Crab That Played with the Sea.”
Varvara68 [4.7K]

The inference is that the details from the excerpt that best support the conclusion that children are the author's intended audience include:

the terms "kun" and "payah kun"

the use of animals to tell a magical story

How to illustrate the information?

It should be noted that the context clues are important to understand the story that's illustrated.

In this case, the inference is that the details from the excerpt that best support the conclusion that children are the author's intended audience include the terms "kun" and "payah kun" and the use of animals to tell a magical story.

These shows that the audience were children.

I don’t understand. Can someone help me please
Vlada [557]

I believe this is a clause because it has a subject and a predicate

the predicate being: Inspirational leader

the subject being: Mohandas gandhi

sorry if im wrong i tried

here is the difference between a phrase and clause that i googled sice i didn't really know how to explain it

On the other extreme, the clause is a part of a sentence, that contains a subject (noun phrase) that actively performs an action (finite verb form). A phrase is a part of a clause or a sentence. As against, a clause is a sentence fragment. A clause has a subject and predicate, whereas a phrase doesn't.

I hope this helps x3
