Answer:

"I kept telling myself, "Pull yourself together, pull yourself together," so I wouldn't cry".

Explanation:

This is the best example of her personal theme because in this excerpt she is talking about her feelings and how she was feeling during her evacuation to Cornwall.

  • She is describing what she was saying to herself because she did not want to cry in those moments. She was calming herself with the words ''Pull yourself together'' which she was repeating constantly.

Evacuation to Cornwall happened in Word War II and many people that survived were talking about it with hard feelings.

A) Why are presidential inaugurations important
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

At the core of Inauguration Day is a legal procedure: the oath of office, which is required of the president in order to serve. But though the oath could be a small, procedural affair, it never quite has been. Even at the very first inauguration, George Washington, after taking the oath—and becoming the first democratically elected head of state in modern history—addressed the crowds that had gathered under the balcony of Federal Hall in New York City.

Check all of the qualities of the charter Rachel Winslow
Marta_Voda [28]
I think that the qualities that belong to Rachel Winslow from ''In His Steps'' are : gifted voice, attractive, bitter.  I choose these adjectives because she is a singer at First Church with impressively beatiful appearence who seek a rich man for marriage to make her dream come true- that's why she is bitter, she denies proposal of a nice guy to find somebody filled with wealth.
