This has a very long answer. You could research this for years about different subjects that pertain to this, and still not learn everything there is to know about it. Ethics, Social constructs, Culture, The economics of necessity, etc. Throughout history there always was and will be people opposed to slavery and even fight against it, and there always was and will be people who use it for their own benefit. whether your talking about African American slaves in America, or barbarian slaves in ancient Rome, there were always people who were for AND against it. What seems to be the case, in an objective standpoint, is that love usually triumphs over hate, because working together is what makes peaceful, prosperous life possible along with technological advancements.

V. early government in action. 1. explain 2 precedents set by george washington
Svetradugi [14.3K]
George Washington set many precedents (examples) while president. Two of the most important ones are:

1) Development of a Presidential cabinet- Washington's idea to have a group of individuals with different areas of expertise to help him make decisions is still used by the federal government. The cabinet plays an essential role in developing policies for the president.

2) Term limit- Washington served only two terms as president. Every single president has followed this example except Franklin D. Roosevelt. After Roosevelt was elected 4 times, the US Congress agreed to pass an amendment to limit the president to two terms (aka 8 years).
