In this excerpt form act I scene I of Shakespeare’s Richard III what two purposes does Richard soliloquy appear to serve?
Veronika [31]

The first purpose that Richard's soliloquy appears to serve is to reveal the motivations and personality of the character - we can see that he hates himself because he was basically a hunchback, so he was pretty self-conscious about it. He also reveals in the first scene what he intends to do throughout the play.

As for the second purpose, I'd choose the answer - it informs the audience about the background of the plot, as it gives us reasons why Richard decided to do what he did.

We discussed that first person narrators should sometime not be trusted. We have many details that show us that we have an UNREL
ValentinkaMS [17]

A)The narrator feels that no one has ever experienced a love like theirs, even though they were children. He says that no one older or wiser has ever loved like they did.

D)He provides clear details about how she died. It shows that he understands her illness was natural.

these two are my top choices but i think it is D because it states he understands her illness was natural. A we are not sure if somone else love more then him/her

Write an email about your school
levacccp [35]

Answer:

Firstly it will have to be formal or informal depending on whom you are writing to. For example, if you are writing to your headteacher you will be polite and use a more formal tone. Whereas, if you were writing the email to your friends it would be informal. Furthermore, you would need to include vital information about your school such as number of students, subjects that it teaches e.t.c
