Answer:

864 calories.

Step-by-step explanation:

In this problem, it is given that a person ate 2400 calories a day.

36% of this total amount of calories that are eaten by the person came from fat.

Now, we are asked to calculate the number of calories that came from fat.

Therefore, the amount of calories is \frac{2400 \times 36}{100} =864 calories that came from fat. (Answer)

Help me on this question please?
USPshnik [31]
I'm in middle school (8th grade) and this is relatively easy, for me, so...

if each batch of muffins can make 6 muffins, and she makes 2.5 batches of blueberry muffins which will make 15 muffins, she will need to make 7.5 batches of banana muffins to equal 45 muffins and 45 + 15 = 60 muffins.

Here is the math part of it......

1 batch = 6 muffins

She makes 2.5 batches,  2.5 * 6 = 15 muffins

x*6 = 45
divide 6 by both sides to get this

x = 7.5

She needs to make 7.5 batches in order to make the rest of the 60 muffins

See the attached picture. You'll find a tree with four branches at level 1 (each of the four sectors of the spinner). Each of these branches is divided in four sub-branches: the possible results of tossing two coins (HH, HT, TH, TT).

So, there are 16 possible outcomes (numbered below each leaf).

If you want to roll an odd number, you have to take branch 1 or 3 at first level.

Then, for each of those, you have to toss exactly one head, so you have to take HT or TH.

The good outcomes are thus 2, 3, 10 and 11, leading to a probability of 4/16=1/4=25%.
