Demographic studies will determine the age structure and income structure of people living in a geographic area. Businesses will use this information to help in determining if their business will succeed for given area. Cities will use that information to determine what infrastructure is needed. You would use this to detemine if the area is one you might want to move to or move from.

As runners in a marathon go by, volunteers hand them small cone shaped cups of water. The cups have a 3 cm radius and a height o
Strike441 [17]

Answer: 25.12cm³

Explanation:

First, we need to calculate the volume of the small cone shaped cups of water which will be:

= 1/3πr²h

where,

π = 3.14

r = 3cm

h = 8cm

Volume = 1/3πr²h

= 1/3 × 3.14 × 3² × 8

= 1/3 × 3.14 × 9 × 8

= 75.36cm³

Since Abigail sloshes 2/3 of the water out of a cup before she gets to drink any, this means that there'll be (1 - 2/3) = 1/3 of the water remaining in Abigail‘s cup. Therefore, the volume of the water remaining in Abigail‘s cup will be:

= 1/3 × 75.36

= 25.12cm³

Although uncontrolled hunting and habitat destruction pushed the white-tailed deer to near extinction, its numbers have increase
RideAnS [48]

Answer:

The answer is C) Having planned shooting of the weak and old.

Explanation:

Hunting deer is one of the greatest threats to their species survival. When hunting is regulated is causes the population to remain sustainably into the future. Firstly, but choosing an older or weak or sick deer to shoot the hunter is not impacting on future generations as these deer might not contribute to the reproduction of future deer. The young have a chance to grow and help reproduce in the future. Deer can move into alternative habitats if one is damaged, to allow it to recover. However, reducing the young is not recoverable. In doing so hunters also pay for the opportunity to hunt a specific deer and the money goes towards the recovery of the habitat.
