elena-s [515]

In the age of social media, we constantly have access to other peoples lives and can not help but to compare. It is all good, until this analyzing becomes more agressive towards one self. For example, 'oh, they are vacationing at such a nice place' goes to 'I am so stupid, I can never earn so much money to afford such a vacation'. Not everyone have a highly developed self-esteem, then this self-criticism becomes hard to handle and can even turn into constant anxiety and even depression. One of the most prominent self-criticizing has to do with the self-image or appearance. People want to look good and also stand out. This balace is hard to achieve. What is androgyny?

Humans with androgyny have both masculine and feminine characteristics. Hermaphroditism, on the other hand, is the possession of both male and female reproductive organs in plants and animals. Androgyny can refer to biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression.

Which of these is a factor that contributes to cultural change over time
Makovka662 [10]

Answer:

Blending cultures is a factor that eventually translates to cultural change.

Explanation:

In the day-to-day activities, people encounter others who have different cultural beliefs, traditions and customs. As they interact with other cultural aspects, although there might arise conflicts but eventually there is borrowing and complete culture change.

Cultural blending therefore will lead to cultural change if we are to consider the changes that occur, beliefs, customs and traditions are copied by one community or both.

The ideas copied from the other community will lead to culture change as they will be absorbed to completely become part of their culture and it will no longer be what it used to be.
