What’s a good introduction to an argumentative essay about lowering the voting age to 16?
Mariana [72]

Answer:

Should the American government  allow people to vote at the age of 16 or not? Well my opinion on that is this: When you have a group of people with different opinions and judgments, allowing power among st all of them is not a good idea. There needs to be a higher power to take control. With that being said, in my opinion, early age voting is not a good idea. One of the many reasons is because, the brain does not completely develop until the age of 18, and for males it takes longer. People say that you make decisions when you are a teenager, and when you get older you regret them. It is very true, no I do not think that early age voting is a very good idea, especially with the way the world is going. It's going to take a bigger and  wiser person to bring us out of the deep hole  that We The People have dug ourselves into.

enyata [817]
Hello there, to help right of the bat. I know B is not the right answer. But after reading i belive that A is the correct answer choice because Churchhill is basically saying that during WW2, the British and the French saved Belgium, but only after it was attacked. Churchhill is saying that if they would not have been neutral they could have saved Poland from Axis attacks. So i belive that the answer is A

Read the excerpt from The Riddle of the Rosetta Stone, by James Cross Giblin.
IRINA_888 [86]

Answer: Translating the demotic text on the Rosetta Stone took the work of many scholars.

In this text, the author mentions that Heinrich Karl Brugsch was the first scholar who truly understood the symbols in the demotic passage. However, he also claims that the scholar developed his work after other scholars such as De Sacy, Akerblad, Young and Champollion had made some progress with it. Moreover, he states that Dr. J. J. Hess published an even more detailed version of it. This supports the idea that translating the Rosetta Stone took the work of many scholars.
