What factors caused the Great Depression to spread around the world? check all that apply.
Yakvenalex [24]
The Depression spread rapidly around the world because the responses made by governments were flawed. When faced with falling export earnings they overreacted and severely increased tariffs on imports, thus further reducing trade. Moreover, since deflation was the only policy supported by economic theory at the time, the initial response of every government was to cut their spending. As a result consumer demand fell even further. Deflationary policies were critically linked to exchange rates. Under the Gold Standard, which linked currencies to the value of gold, governments were committed to maintaining fixed exchange rates.

Why did general s patton lead a dummy army to a different beach on d-day
mixas84 [53]
To give the appearance of a massive troop buildup in southeast England, the Allies created a largely phantom fighting force, the First U.S. Army Group, headed by George Patton, the American general whom the Nazis considered to be the enemy’s best commander and the logical man to lead a cross-channel invasion. The Allies broadcast endless hours of fictitious radio transmissions about troop and supply movements and planted wedding notices for fake soldiers in local newspapers. They deceived Nazi aerial reconnaissance planes by fashioning dummy aircraft and an armada of decoy landing crafts, composed only of painted canvases pulled over steel frames, around the mouth of the River Thames. They even deployed inflatable Sherman tanks, which they moved to different locations under the cover of night, and used rollers to simulate tire tracks left behind in their wake.

What was one reason the Catholic chruch became less powerful in the 14th and 15th century
nata0808 [166]
Thank you for posting your question in Brainly. I hope my answer is satisfactory to you.

One reason the Catholic church became less powerful in the 14th-15th century is due to the rise of a new religion that contradicted it's beliefs, and offered more than Catholic rituals. Protestantism was the religion that caused the Catholics to weaken in power. It was promoted by England and other European entities. Because of this, influence of the Vatican diminished.
