The 2 major battles of the indian wars are the Sabine Expedition and the First Seminole War.

1st major battles= The Sabine Expedition was an expedition approved by the United States Congress in 1806. It was led by Major General Edmund Pendleton Gaines. It consisted of volunteersprovided by Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, including militia from Fayetteville in Lincoln County or Athens in McMinn County. 2nd major battle= first seminole war, conflict between U.S. armed forces and the seminole Indians of Florida that is generally dated to 1817 through 1818. It began over attempts by U.S. authorities to recapture runaway black slaves living among seminole bands.
