Theater is harder bc you have to do it over and over again and you can't just "cut" and reshoot

Both require lots of acting and talent.  Some could argue that theater requires more of a devotion and more of a portrayal of emotion.  Many theater productions are the works of world renown composers that are thought highly of.  Hope this helps and gets you started.
