History

Answer: The Madagascar Plan failed due to Germany's defeat in the Battle of Britain and the British naval blockade, which limited Germany's access to basic supplies such as food, textiles and minerals.

Explanation: The Madagascar Plan was elaborated while the Nazi Party was in power and it aimed at relocating the Jewish population from Germany and other countries of Europe. However, this plan failed because Germany was defeated by Great Britain in the Battle of Britain, which made impossible for Germany to use British ships to relocate the Jewish population. Moreover, the British naval blockade, which limited Germany's access to food and minerals, also made the Madagascar Plan fail. Therefore, lack of transportation was the main reason why this plan failed.
