Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

Thematic statement: The practice of sports is important and must always be carried out to promote physical, academic and social benefits.

Rhetorical strategy that creates logos: If sport is causing academic and physical problems, it is not beneficial.

Explanation:

"The Proper Place for Sports" is a letter written by Roosevelt to his son. In this letter Roosevelt shows his son how positive he is about his desire to play sports. He says that the practice of sports is very beneficial and that it promotes not only physical well-being, but that it should add quality to academic and social life. However, he is concerned that the practice of sports will harm the boy's academic development, in addition to being too heavy for his physical size.

In this case, Roosevelte states that the sport has to be beneficial, if it is harmful, it must be abandoned.
