Lets just start by saying that on the hundreths grid, each row of 10 is one tenth.
To answer them you just have to put how many squares are shaded in out of 100.

66.)  There are 4 rows of 10 shaded in, so there is 40 squares all together.

The fraction is 40/100, this can be simplified  though by dividing them by 20.  (If you are not supposed to simplify, ignore this step)  When you divide them you get 2/5

To get the decimal just divide the fraction and you get .4

67.)  Same concept here.  There is 5 full rows of ten, then there is 2 half rows that make another 10, then there is half of 5.  In total there is 62.5/100.  This can be simplified to 5/8.

Just divide that fraction and you get .625

68.)  This time there is 200 total squares.  One full one  is shaded in, so that is 100.  Plus the next one there is 6 squares shaded in.  There are a total of 106 squares  shaded in.  The fraction is 106/200.  This can only be divided by 2 to simplify.  So the final fraction is 53/100.  Divide this to get the decimal which is .53

69.)  This just means that when you divide the fraction they will equal .4

One fraction is .4/1

Second is 6/15

Third is 2/5

Solve for x. Show each step of the solution. 4.5(8−)+36=102−2.5(3+24) i need to show my work dont just give me the answer
elena-s [515]
4.5 * (8-) + 36 = 102 - 2.5 * 27
4.5 * 8 - 36 = 102 - 2.5 * 27
36 - 36 = 102 - 2.5 * 27
36 - 36 = 102 - 67.5
36 - 36 = 34.5
Since we know 36 - 36 doesn't equal 34.5 its not true so there is NO ANSWER.
