1. First you brainstorm, then
2. start connecting concepts and ideas. 
3. ask yourself questions about the topic.
4. get the outline of your characters
5. choose your type of plot.
6. imagine the setting
7. create your setting from scratch
8. finalize your characters then put them all together to make the plot
