How did cavemen make paint

Cavemen made paint by using: Finley ground stone or sand mixed with animal fat and animal blood with dead plants. That's why most of their paintings are red because of the animals blood.

Then to make the painting, they used: A bone tool from an animals leg that looks like a pen we would use today. Or sometimes they would just use their hands for painting.
