"London" is regarded as the richest city in England. However, it is also said to contain the poorest sector in the country. This is primarily because of the "inequality" that is happening in the city. Such inequality is said to have grown between <em>1990s</em> and <em>2008</em>. This happened due to the rising wages of the high-earners while the poor remained poor. So, the gap widely increased. Such condition resulted to a<em> "recession"</em> which took its peak in the year 2008. This creates a gloomy picture for London even in the future. It will result to a more divided city.
