Gerrymandering can have a damaging effect on the principle of democratic accountability. It is a political practice during election in which politicians manipulate the the district boundaries in order to favor one political party. Gerrymandering<span> is when a political group tries to alter a voting district to establish an outcome that benefits them or damages the group who opposes them.</span>

It did not because those are two different issues discrimination will be around forever and it still shows in the gay rights movement because some places will not serve a gay person in a restaurant being free and being accepted are not in the same boat it even showing in animals especially when it come to mating
